All-Star Wrestling Australia - Southern Coast Survival - 01.12.2018
December 1st will see the much awaited rematch between Blakestone and Kingston Eclipse. These two last fought in August where All-Star Wrestling refused to sanction the bout due to the danger of hosting such a match. All-Star Wrestling was proved correct when both men used baseball bats, chairs, tables and assorted other objects on one another. The match ended in a double knockout and it has taken close to two months for Kingston to agree to fight Blakestone again under the sanctioning of All-Star Wrestling Australia. Naturally with the approval of All-Star Wrestling this sanctioned match is now for Blakestone's All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship.
Also set to appear will be Abaddon, Dean Draven, Hudson Hulk, Jack Pain, Johnny Starr, Lee "The Man" Morrow, "The Birdman" Phil Picasso, Tony Cruise and many more. We will also have an update on the tag team title situation from All-Star official Jason Dargham on the night.
The show will be hosted at the Koonawarra Community Centre and more information plus ticket options are available by clicking HERE
All-Star Wrestling returned to the Koonawarra Community Centre on October 20th for another big show which was headlined by Hudson Hulk taking on Lee "The Man" Morrow in a chain match.
The show began with the two top high-flyers in All-Star Wrestling as El Jaguar managed to defeat Abaddon in what was Abaddon's first loss under the All-Star banner. Due to Goran Nikolov pulling out of the show due to personal reasons this match was a number one contenders bout and El Jaguar moved on to take on "The Machine" Blakestone in the main event.
"The Steeler" Daniel Alexander continued his winning ways in All-Star Wrestling Australia as he defeated Canberra's Vinnie Bronson. Alexander has worked for years to wrestle in his hometown of Dapto and received a huge welcome. Despite Bronson and Archer doing their best to cost Alexander the victory he managed to take out the victory and celebrated with the locals.
Dan Archer took on "The Birdman" Phil Picasso after this and surprisingly managed to get the win. Archer and Bronson harassed the legend throughout the match and hit him with a low blow to win the match. Archer and Bronson taunted Birdman after the match.
Dean Draven took on Shane Saw and showed just how good of a technical wrestler he is by dominating Shane Saw with a number of holds and moves. Shane Saw took Draven to the limit but ultimately fell victim and was submitted by the former Australian Champion after a great match.
After intermission it was time for championship action as El Jaguar made his way to the ring looking to beat the undefeated Blakestone and overcome the odds. El Jaguar brought out all his high-flying moves and left nothing in the ring but it wasn't enough to beat Blakestone who brought back his patented back chops and locked Jaguar in his cloverleaf causing Jaguar to pass out. After the match once Jaguar had recovered Blakestone congratulated Jaguar and said he was a great opponent before telling Kingston Eclipse that he'd be coming for him December 1st and that the belt would be on the line.
After Tony Cruise took exception to Starr on August 25th the two finally competed against one another one on one on October 20th. These two took one another to their limits and both men had the fans on the edge of their seats and went all out to defeat one another. Tony Cruise got the victory much to the dismay of the audience but Johnny Starr chased him to the back threatening revenge.
In our main event Hudson Hulk and Lee "The Man" Morrow went to war in a chain match. Both men used the chain to their advantage with Hudson Hulk using his strength to throw Morrow into the ring post and Morrow desperately fought for his life gaining the advantage very rarely. Referee James Matthews was accidentally smashed by both wrestlers near the end of the match leading to Morrow kicking Hudson low, unhooking himself from the chain and smashing a chair over the head of Hudson Hulk, reviving the referee and getting a three count. Hudson Hulk was examined by our staff backstage and has suffered a minor concussion at the hands of Morrow but still took time out to sign autographs and take photos with the fans. He is expected to make a full recovery within a few days.
All-Star Wrestling Australia would like to thank all attendees for turning up and braving the bad weather to help us achieve our biggest crowd to date. This match will be for the All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship and will see Blakestone defend against Kingston Eclipse in what is their third match under the All-Star Wrestling banner.
